Self-Ligating Braces

These advanced teeth braces are designed for comfort. The brackets are smaller than traditional brackets, and the self-ligating mechanism produces virtually friction-free tooth movement. How do self ligating braces work?
Self-ligating braces use a specialized clip or ‘door’ to hold the archwire into the bracket, instead of an colored tie or metal tie. This clip slide mechanism helps to reduce the amount of pressure placed on each tooth, which reduces friction, and decreases the number of office visits required during treatment. Traditional Metal Braces
Perhaps the most well-known form of braces is traditional metal braces. Younger patients love to get creative with their braces colors! These bands are functionally necessary to hold the wire into the bracket, but they also allow for some unique creativity. We use self-ligating braces, because they are one of the most efficient and comfortable types of Las Vegas braces.
